Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Some do believe this. Since they had an alliance with the Phoenicians and there are some that believe they made it to America, it would be possible. I want to see more evidence before I will believe this. There are some who believe that the Phoenicians even made it to the interior of North America. There are some things that have been dug up in Iowa that resemble both Hebrew and Phoenician symbols. I do not think that Solomon launced the fleet, but rather that part of the Hebrew fleet was with the Phoenician fleet that sailed to the Americas. There is suppose some proof that they were in Brazil too. I really do need to see more proof before I can say that it were true.
