French Horn Help?

I am going to be a sophmore, and I do not like the French Horns my school has to offer. I want a horn that will last, but is not over 4,500 dollars. I want a silver horn with the F and Bb sides. What is the best horn i should get? Also, What is a removeable h section that is on the conn 12d? What does the removeable h section do?
