Question:

What is a contributor's copy?

I was reading a book and it talked about a writer getting contributor's copies along with a compensation in a magazine. I did some search and I still can't find what contributors' copies mean.

What does it exactly mean?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: If a writer has a story, article, essay, etc. in a magazine, that publication may offer monetary reward and provide one or more contributor copies. It means simply that they will send the writer one or more copies of the publication that contains their piece of work.
