Pink ribbons in the scarlet letter??

I am sorry that i have posted so many questiokns about this book. but all the answers have been so helpful. I'm supposed to be able to write about someone finding the pink ribbons, and what events this leads up to. i need my report by tomorrow, i've read the book over and over, and cant find that part. maybe im misinterpreting the text, but i cant seem to find the part where they find the pink robbins (whoever, they, may be.) and i also dont know how this leads up to forcoming events. please help, and thank you so much inadvance =]

Are you sure that you doing mean 'The Young Goodman Brown'? That was also by Hawthorine and pink ribons are referenced when Goodman Brown see them as they fall from the sky through the wind.
