Looking for a book!!!! PLEASE help!!!?

Does anyone know any books about girls who break away from their everyday boring life or home to achieve some great dream? I especially want to know if there are any books like this about dancers. I'm really into adventure/inspiration/dance and I am looking for something i can relate to as I plan to start auditioning for dance roles in New York. Its all really exciting. Anyway, can anybody help me out??

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Dancing on the Edge by Han Nolan is fabulous, but like that person said, it really depends on age. Dancing on the Edge is found in Young Adult sections, but it could be for anyone, as long as there not, like 5.
