Question:

Around how much are contact lens, and what are the good and bad things about getting contact lens?

Please be as descriptive as possible.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: You can get disposable contacts for as little as $15 bux a box at Wal-Mart or if you purchase online you can get a year's supply for $125 bux (standard no frills). Depends on your prescription and type of lens. Prices are all over the board.

Good things: No glasses (except the back up pair). I see better through contact lenses, they're more comfortable for me. I have no trouble with dealing with sunglasses when I wear my lenses. Less distortion - the lens is ON your eye not near your eye.

Bad things: I don't have any - although some folks find them uncomfortable and a pain to deal with. I switched to contacts 20 years ago, never a regret. There's always: You do have to be fastidious with your hygiene. If you get something in your eye and you're wearing contacts... ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch OUCH. :x

Disposables rock. I wouldn't wear contacts if I had to wear hard ones.
