Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Adolf Hitler. one of the worlds military genius' but also a complete maniac. while he helped Germany become a force to be reckoned and had the Autobahn build/created during WWII, he had millions of people murdered during the Holocaust. he was a very interesting person in my book. (don't think i want to be like him but i just find him interesting and fills the requirements for controversial and inspirational in the sense that he brought to light just how horrible a dictator could be and how when a country is really down and out horrible things can become of it.)
