Position:Home>Arts & Humanities> Is Sylvia Plath's Bell Jar completely autobiographical?Question: Is Sylvia Plath's Bell Jar completely autobiographical? Are there any other books that are simular to this? I love books where people go insane. Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: From what I understand, it is semi-autobiographical - originally published under the pseudonym "Victoria Lucas" in 1963. It isnt quite the same, but Wally Lamb's "She's Come Undone" is a great book. Also, have you read Charlotte Perkins Gilman's short story The Yellow Wallpaper? Amazing read. Pax - C |
