Could you recommend some summer reading?

I am bored and would like to find a good book. I like fun chick-lit but I also like some of the classics, like Robinson Crusoe and Steinbeck. The only genres i dont like are sci-fi and horror. Got any suggestions?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: A tree Grows in Brookyn you should read it, everyone should, it is absolutely the best book in history. I am telling you, I HATE to read with a passion fiction books, but this one will just blow your mind away. It will make you cry, feel angry, sad, happy, relieved and all other sorts of emotions. Your time will not be wasted and it will be worth while. :)
