What book is this?

I started this one book a year ago and never finished before I had to take it back but now i want to read it again and I can't remember the name! It's about a girl who's grandmother died and she was a holocaust survivor and so the girl goes back to poland i think to figure out her grandma's past. I remember the cover had a pair of eyes and barbed wire... thanks for your help!

The story of a woman whose grandmother, a holocaust survivor, always told the story of Sleeping Beauty differently than other grandmothers did. The young woman goes to Poland to find out why and, in turn, finds her grandmother's story.

It's a beautiful story by a singularly wonderful author. I've read it several times.
