Interested in comments, and thought I'd brave the medium...?

I am better at writing about poetry than actually writing it, but it seems unfair to give too many opinions without opening my own work up to the same. I'd love any feedback - and yes, I know it's out of season!

Each stubborn leaf
clings to green,
fighting its
linear place in a
cyclical world,
straining against
yellow, orange,
red, and its
inevitable,
wind-dancing
drift to brown
rest on green,
dew-bejeweled
grass.
