Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Yes but on a deeper level than most people will understand. In other words there are a lot of shallow people in the world and their opinion doesn't matter. It's nobody's business why you are with the mate that you choose. It can of course affect your life because of what they think of that person. For example you may not get the job you want or future children could be adversely affected making their life more difficult. But, if the partner choice you make only affects you, then it is up to you if you want to live that life.
