Dreamland by sarah dessen?

someone said it was intense. why is that? don't give away any big details. I'm on page 40 right now. Is it a good book for a teenager?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I loved this book! It is kind of intense, there is drug use and some sex. It's not horribly bad or anything though, because I was allowed to do a book report on it in my junior year (my teacher had read the book also). I read it when I was 14 then again when I was 17. It's a great book, enjoy reading it!
