I have a silver hinged box which measures 9 1/4cm by 5cm by 2cm deep. It has 2 hallmarks on the lid a lion and an H and on the base is A.W, a flower/thistle a lion and an H. Does anyone know what these marks mean?

proffesor, it has a fine wiggly pattern all over, it has raised ornate carved edges.
