Here is a brand new one I just wrote?

I just finished it about 5 minutes ago. Hope you like it!

BANANA TOAST

Appreciate the little things
While you still have the time
Like fresh salmon with lime
Or a crystal wind chime

Maybe a grandfather clock
The way British men talk
Or when you were in school
With blackboards and chalk

King size beds
And party spreads
A sunny day
Art made from clay

All day flavor in soups
Fancy cursive with loops
The creak of a rusty gate
The relief of not being late

Learn to appreciate the little things
And make someone smile
They'll make you feel happy
And your whole life worth while

(If you are wondering why its called Banana Toast, it's because when I first wrote it, right after "Fancy cursive with loops" I had written Banana toast and the tale of a ghost. As soon as I wrote it I realized that it didn't work at all so I changed it. But I kept Banana Toast as the Title.)

-It's very simpleton, in means of rhyme and sporadic rhythm, but not all poetry is fancy words and structure. And you really pulled off this free-flowing, laid back happy-go-lucky poem, with a lovely message that is well portrayed! Excellent work!!
