Question:

Please judge a clip of my short story?

The waiter returned briskly to the table with one coffee warming up each hand. He sat down without waiting for so much as an ??ok??. His eyes infiltrated her soul at once and she knew she could keep no secrets from him. She felt rather close to him even though she never spoke to him before. The man had this awareness too. He was quite good at finding the psyche within a person. He laughed without caution, assuming that he could figure her out.

The woman didn??t talk much though. She sat at the table with her hands crossed and a look of aristocracy plastered onto her face. She sat at the table with the man for fifteen minutes of silence during which time they merely watched one another and sipped their coffees. It was not an awkward silence, but rather a shared one in which neither felt alone.

The story is actually four pages long.

And thank you Lynn for pointing that out. I didn't realize how often I say "sitting at the table"! It gets annoying!
(I also am quite verbose..wordy. I can't help it!!!)
