Question:

Is there a book or website that could tell me the value of coins?

I am just a novice coin collector and I have came across some coins I think might hold some value. So I just want a good, independent estimate of how much some of these coins might be worth.

I looked through those websites but didnt exactly find my answer.
I'll give you a couple examples:

A 1941 Jefferson nickel -- I want to know how much somebody would pay me for this.

A 1949 Penny -- Again, I want to know how much somebody would pay me for this.
Not looking to sell for scrap.
