Please rate my poem. I wrote it about my long lost dog, Humper.....?

"Hum-
per doesn't love
you anymore." he said,
a fleck of gravy on his chin. "That's
why he's gone. What a bad,
bad
dog." I drank it in, like
poison
pounded down
my throat, but I never
let it show.
I was a tough
kid.

And tough.
Humper was a good
dog.
