Origin of "Noperi" surname?

Origin of "Noperi" surname?

My surname is Noperi and I really want to know the origin of that surname, so if somebody know anything about it, please tell me.

However, FamilySearch.org (free site) has some Noperi. Many in Mexico. Some in New Zealand. Social Security Death Index has some living in Arizona at time of death.

You might look at FamilySearch.org. Now, information in family trees on any website must be taken as clues, not as fact as most is not documented. Even if you see the same information over and over by different submitters, a lot of copying is being done.

In genealogy, not too much importance is attached to the origin and meaning of surnames as the same surname frequently comes from more than one country.

The best thing to do is to trace your ancestry starting with your parents, then your grandparents, etc. If you wish to do this there are people on this board that can give you advice and hints as to how to go about it.
