Can someone please tell me the name and author of this poem?

The poem is about a girl at a party who remembers what her mother told her about drink-driving, so she drinks soda instead. But then when she is driving home a drunk driver hits her car. The drunk man survives and is fine but the girl is going to die. I think the last line goes something like this: "If I didn't drink and drive, Mom, then why am I the one to die?"
