Intellectually Stimulating Online Essays?

I am looking for essays to read - something insightful or intellectually stimulating. I am thinking in terms of a website or a collective of individuals online. Any sort of topic covered doesn't matter, so long as it is interesting and insightful. I am not looking for "High-School" formatted essays that teens use to get out of work but item to read for my own betterment or intrigue.

Perhaps something along the lines of a text-based hodgepodge of the TED talks.
