Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: When they rediscovered Pompeii they found these voids in the ground, someone came up with the idea of filling the void with plaster, and they discovered the plasters were images of people (and pets) in their final moments after being buried by the ash.

Make a "negative" of something, and tie it into the project.
