Hand drawn clip art?

I am interested in learning how to draw my own clip art by hand. Do you think it is better to draw it on paper and then scan, or draw using my mouse?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: It's not necessary to draw by hand and then scan, it's only your personal preference.
If you need to trace something you've drawn by hand on the computer, then I would suggest scanning.
Adobe Illustrator is a good program to draw clipart in.
If you draw with the mouse - depending on the program you use, you will have to be familiar with using a pen tool to get precise lines and curves.
