I have the word story about 8 times already in the first paragraph. Its sounds so bad an i tried to fix it but i cant take the word out and i cant think of a legit synonym. p.s this is a nonficction (factual... about a person but not an autobiography) eexample----> effect the story...... keep the story believable..... one of the stories......... toward the story.....the whole story....... story-line of a story...... Additional Details 6 days ago Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: 6 days ago also..... a word that can be used in place of both " movie" or "story" if you have microsoft word, it will help a lot when writing essays like this. after you type the word story, right click in the middle of that word and go down the list to "synonyms" and it will give you a list. sometimes you have to change the form of the word (i.e. if you type in "stories" and try it, you will have to change it to "story" first.) if you don't have microsoft word, or just for an extra bit of help, go to www.dictionary.com and there are tabs at the top. click on thesaurus tab and type in story, it will give you plenty of synonyms. i didn't actually want to just give you a bunch of synonyms for the word "story" because i thought you should know that these resources will be very helpful for your future essays. hope this helps! :) hmm, this is a tough one. adventure, tale, saga a synonym 4 story is tale or novel Tale, yarn, lie.
