I have a bird w gold spots on it. app 9" tall mark Sascha B with inside stamp of M69 or 69W. Any info?

I believe it may be Sascha Brastoff Jewel Bird but can find no picture to compare. The inside of the bird is hollow. It came out of my aunts home. She has had it at least 45 to 50 years.

There is a piece on E-Bay that is somewhat as you describe your piece, hollow in the middle of the bird. It was used for toothpicks at the time of inception.
I have supplied the link to this and many site that you can view, and get a feel for his work.
I have included a few biography pages as well, as they explain how his work changed over his life time.
He did not always sign his work.
The books that are out there regarding the complete collections are costly, as is the appraisal site for his work.
E- Bay is not always the best place to sell if you are considering such a move, at least from my experience.
I will supply you with a better one, there are also enough here to give you an idea as what you could experts after you research all of the data below.
