Question:

Can you solve this mystery worthy of Sherlock Holmes ?

******************************...
Subject: COUGHLAN
Date: Mon, 5 Jun 2000 08:42:51 +0000

I am urgently trying to locate a William (Bill) COUGHLAN who lives in
the Hunter District. Bill was a member of the 21 Construction
Company in the Army (Engineers) at Puckapunyal. A friend of his
named Wayne Badger dropped him off at Morriset in 1973 when they were
on leave.
Forgive me but it is urgent.
Kind regards, Max Coughlan, Marks Point, Lake Macquarie

Two mysteries

1. What's going on ?

2. Is Wayne Badger insignificant ?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:

Wayne Badger is your only lead. it appears that a relative of the dissapeared is lookign for him. but it seems his last known info about his "relative" is 44 years ago. Assuming Bill COUGHLAN was accepted into the Army at the minimum age, 18, and served for perhaps what, 2-5 years, the man is at least 64 years old. this means he is possibly dead, for his age, he probably has heart disease or seomthing. So i wold jsut say.. the guy is dead. and if you can find wayne badger, maybe you can go further from tehre. idk... is this a riddle?
