ANZAC DAY is on April 25 ... it means a great deal to many Aussies and Kiwis.
We fought Turkey in the first World War .. but a respect developed between our two sides.
We appreciate the naming of ANZAC Cove.
and we remember these words :
"The heroes who shed their blood on the soil of this nation ! You are in the
bosom of a friendly country. Rest in peace & calm.
You lie side by side with the Turkish soldiers.
Mothers who sent their sons to war from a far off and, dry your tears. Your
sons are in our hearts. They are in peace & will sleep in peace and comfort
After giving their lives for this soil, your sons are now our sons too..."
