How do i clean this original navajo blanket? ART RESTORATION HELP!?

i inherited an original navajo blanket and discovered that the way the person before me hung the blanket was with contact cement! i need to clean this crap off without hurting the blanket. its made of wool if that helps at all. somebody help me!

I LOVE Antiques Roadshow. One of the last shows I saw had an original and unique navajo blanket that was worth OVER $80,000!

I suggest whatever you decide to do, you first get it evaluated by an expert, and then decide whether getting it restored professionally would be worth it.
