Question:

Help, climax, resolution?

For school, I am writing a story. In the beggining, an older woman is in her attic when she finds a diary of hers and starts to read (and the middle of the story is the diary entry). In it, she talks about here day. In the evening her brother returns home from a war but he has changed a lot. His sister (writer of diary) gets upset because she doesn't understand the changes war can bring and she flees from the room upset and confused. Then it brings us back to the attic where she says she understands her brothers feelings, because she was a nurse in a war,

So, would the climax be when she flees the room in confusion, and the resolution when she says she understands?

The climax is when her brother returns home, her fleeing is her own reaction. i think you've got the resolution right, good going.
