Question:

I need help with writing a poem for my 9th grade english class?

it has to be a minimum of 12 lines,
2 shifts, and
4 poetic devices.
I hate poetry. I mean I hate writing poems myself.
I need help. It has to be on one of our journal entries from class.
Some of which are as follows
Superstitions
Spring Break
Should schools reward students who turn in another (or other) student(s) with weapons with $500.
Stuff like that. What should I do?!?
My brother tells me that I should make it funny because
otherwise people with think i'm a psycho person (??)

Ode to Spring Break.

I brake for thee, O sweetest spring.
A little flowery some...hmmm....thing.
warmer weather, funner times,
words, and verses, riddles, rhymes.

I need help, for English Class,
shifts, devices, stuff like that,
A rip, a rap,
and all that crap.

Near rhymes, near misses, look out all,
There's worse to be had as we look towards fall,
But spring is here alas, a Lou (who is Lou and why is he in my poem?).?
