What are some tools to help getting through creative block?

Question:

What are some tools to help getting through creative block?

i haven't been able to write for 2 years now, I have ideas and projects in mind but I am not able to find their voice - i am still able to work on projects in a detached way but haven't had the creative juices flowing for some time now. I've tried reading self help/creativity books but still nothing that has provided me with reasonable tools to use towards unblocking -

i appreciate any guidance you can offer
