The Gentleman I Could Be
I've come all this way, my journey has been long
But I'm standing strong, with you by my side
You gave me this chance, this dance under the stars
They're shining bright, they're shining for you
My days were dark, the nights went long
Your smile tonight, will take us home
Will you believe, my heart this day
It's singing a song, a beautiful love song
I'm here with you now, I'll never leave
It's my promise tonight, one I'll always keep
I never believed, this day would come
It's finally here, the wait is done
Look at us now, our smiles bright
They fill the room, they complete the night
I'll bring you flowers, and even a hug
Anything for you, I'd do anything for you
I pledge to you now, the smiles will last
A kiss goodnight, sweet dreams my friend
Take my hand, and walk with me
The world is ours, the world we'll see
