Wish I Was Crying Again
Another day to cry.
Another day to lie.
Another day to rest on your shoulder.
Your my boulder.
You keep me lifted up when I am about to fall.
You tell me to listen to God's call.
How can I when I am crying in your face?
How can you live with me in this place?
I wish you and me could run away.
We will not have to listen to what people say.
Just you and me thats the way.
You don't want to come, its not right?
Well I will leave alone from this site!

Hi Emily,
It's a sad, but well-written love poem. Lots of emotion and
feelings. You're heartbroken, but still in love. It sounds like
the two of you are parting ways--going in opposite directions.
I, too, was overcome with extreme sadness when I realized
that I was the cause of my girlfriend being beaten so badly
she could not have children. She was in the hospital for three
months---she had been kicked so many times and so hard
that her ovaries were destroyed completely.
Emily, I wrote a poem about that incident, and to this day, I still
have not finished it. I STILL FEEL SO GUILTY !!!
Your poem is very good and expressive. Keep writing, OK??
