All i remember is something like

"i had 3 dimes and traded it for 4 nickels because 4 is more than too."
At the end it was like

" my dad must have been very proud because his face was red and didn't say anything."

I can't remember the name, but I think it was one of Shel Silverstein's. Maybe from the book, WHERE THE SIDEWALK ENDS.
