Can anyone give me a short account on how the English language first started and then developed in Ghana?

the English language started in Ghana the same way it started in many other countries. It was the way to trade goods, and supplies. When there were so many different dialects, it became a useful way for people to do business by using a common language. For example, when tribes were living several miles apart, they may have communicated with their neighbors, but not with others who lived farther away. When traders came in, they had to use a way to unite people for business reasons. However, as an aside. there was one word from Africa that is used world-wide, and that word started as 'moka' which has come down as 'ok'. Best wishes
