General rules for selling concert tickets?

I have bought a ticket to see a Ballet which my I will gladly sell to my friend since I won't be able to make it. Only problem is- it has got my surname printed on the ticket cuz I bought it online. They don't say the need proof of identity or anything like that. Do you think they might notice or not let her in?? What are the general rules for these things?? Thanks so much.
