Can anyone tell me how to make my own felted wool?? would I just wash a piece of wool in hot water to shrink?

you could do but it would look awful, you need to buy wool fibre and then lay out the strands in alternative layers eg horizontal and then vertical, use a samll amount of hot water and some unperfumed soap start in the middle and work your way out in a circular motion this takes practice but can get nice results, when you have done that place it between 2 sheets of bubble wrap and roll back and forth as tho rolling pastry, then squeeze out excess water and rinse under a tap. have a go !
