Where do the stars go in the day?

I am not after serious answers as I am after ideas for a project I am doing, so be creative :)

The stars are the team that pulls the sun's chariot around the earth. But the sun is so heavy, that it requires a great many stars to pull it, so you never see them in the sky together because of the length of the lines required to harness all of them to the task.
