Even though I'm an Art teacher and an artist.... you might not like my answer. I'll tell you what I tell my students.
What is Art? Look around you. It's everything! Beauty and ugliness abound. Both are Art. It can be made. It can be found. It can be spoken. It can be thought. Each of you is a work of Art in and of yourself. And within you, lies the potential for Art unseen, unmade, unspoken and unthought. Art is the unleashing of yourself and your ideas passionately upon an unsuspecting world.
