There was a man who counted a number
This number is called pi
He really made a blunder
Because he??ll be counting until his day to die

a terrible blunder
he'll be counting
till the day he dies.
There has to be an easy, not forced ebb and flow or rhythm to the poem. Your idea is fine but the style should flow and remember in poetry, less is more.
