Torn
Artist ME!

A moment in time
A second in space
A feeling of panic
Makes my heart race

A reason to hurt
Too high or too low
I feel the heat
But it won't melt the snow

Balance is far
I have lost the best
This blade is my life
I will find my rest

the poem doesnt reflect me...im a happy positive person. i just write weird stuff like this lol dunno why!

it describes the relationship with my ex...from beginning to end. (except i exaggerated the end a lot lol)

Feeling a bit lost?

I think your poem describes a feeling of being alone and unconnected in this world. So you will just end your life with a knife.

I hope it is just a poem and not a declaration of some future event.

**Based on your additional comments, I would say, the only way to lose the best is to have lost yourself. Grief passes and feelings change as will yours about what is the best. It is enlightening to put things in words and to look at them at some future point in time.
