Question:

Tell me the most beautiful poem ever written?

I would like to memorize one really beautiful poem, whether or not it has been published, means nothing to me. I just want something beautiful to remember, as a reminder.

Here's one beautiful beautiful poem, perhaps not the most beautiful....

Pied Beauty

Glory be to God for dappled things --
For skies of couple-colour as a brinded cow;
For rose-moles all in stipple upon trout that swim;
Fresh-firecoal chestnut-falls; finches' wings;
Landscape plotted & pieced -- fold, fallow, & plough;
And 㡬l trades, their gear & tackle & trim.
All things counter, original, sp㡲e, strange;
Whatever is fickle, freckl㨤, (who knows how?)
With sw㭦t, sl㳷; sweet, s㳵r; ad㡺zle, d㭭;
He fathers-forth whose beauty is p㡳t change:
Pr㡩se h㭭.

I believe it's by Gerard Manley Hopkins.
