Famous People Of The Roaring 1920's- United States History- Costume Ideas?

For my A.P. U.S. History class our teacher is giving us extra credit if we dress up as someone significant in the 1920's. We all know of charlie chaplin and al capone but there's probably going to be 50 people dressed up as them... so that means I need something creative! If anyone has any good ideas of significant people and what I could use as a costume, that would be great! By the way, I already have an original flapper's costume (used it for hallloween) but what significant woman in the 1920's would wear that?
