1.The state electricity boards must try to find new sources of power so that more electricity is generated.For this purpose solar energy may also be considered as a potential source,since it is easily and abundantly available.
2.Lot of power theft is taking place in the country.The electricity boards must take steps to see that power theft is eliminated completely.For that purpose it is also important to eliminate corruption from the elctricty board's offices for otherwise corrupt officials allow the big power thieves go scot free at a price and only petty thieves are caught.
3.No free electricity should be given to anybody or any organisation.
3.The consumers must try to economise on the consumption of elctricity.If necessary the consumers may be educated in this regard by holding public seminars or giving messages through the media.
5.For an immediate solution to the problem of loadshedding the individual consumers need to have their own generator
