Does anyone know an object that used to represent intelligence?

I need to find an object for the character in my book. The character is intelligent so I need to find something thats represents intelligence.

Owls are used to show wisdom, an old oil lamp, (like Aladdin's), was used to show learning or education - as in the lighting of a flame. In fables, foxes are clever.

That kinda thing? Or you could just try doing a search on "symbol of intelligence."
