Hopes and dreams?

Hopes and dreams?

Did you ever or do you have hopes and dreams? Are they something you feel you could or could have accomplished? What are/were they?

I think my hopes and dreams have changed as I have gotten older. I was a lot more idealistic as a teenager as to what my dreams were. They were not very attainable in the context of real life. In my twenties when I started getting that harsh dose of reality, I guess I changed my hopes and dreams into goals that I could actually achieve. Now I am in my thirties. I have realized some of my dreams - a family, kids, a husband, a home, a job I like - and I'm working on others - starting a business, developing my skills on the violin, shaping my children into happy and healthy young men. If I couldn't dream or hope, I'm not sure I would be as motivated to try new things.
