films etc. for a 58 year old male?

Discounts and contacts for activities/films etc. for a 58 year old male?

Since taking enforced early retirement, when I am not travelling/looking after the granson or being ill I need to get out more and meet people for sports/socialising in the daytimes AND also am interested in what discounts etc are available for someone who is not yet eligible for 'senior citizen' status nor is receiving benefits. I know there must be cinema/theatre/music cheap days etc but am having trouble locating them. I'm in North London, on a limited but ok income but want to take advantage of anything going! Any suggestions from first hand experience? Or know of any individuals/groups for daytime activities? I live in North London.

Sorry can not help apart from suggesting you visit all the different web sites and key in Promotions, Good Luck and happy retirement. I am 54 and it is a bit like being a teenager too old for some things and too young for others. I can ot wait to be 60 when I get my bus pass, at the moment it costs ⣵.00 return journey just to go o the shops, I live in Northumberland , a beautiful county but not a lot going on.
