Question:

Ancient Greek Playwright and Poet Aeschylus?

There is a relatively well known quote from Aeschylus, one of RFK's favorite poets. I quote that RFK help bring into the mainstream consciousness to an extent.
Here it is....

And even in our sleep pain that cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart, and in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom to us by the awful grace of God.

My question is, did this quote come from a larger piece of work? If so what is the name of that work?

I have try to find the answer online to no avail. I just found the quote. Thanks

I left out the very beginning sentence, in the above quote, which I think is crucial...

He who learns must suffer. And even in our sleep pain that cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart, and in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom to us by the awful grace of God.
