Question:

Any ideas for a humanities project?

So, I have a project for school, where I have to make my own piece of art, architecture, music, book, poem, whatever....basically just my own work that is done in the style of someone else....it has to be anytime before 1900

the only problem is that I am fairly artistically challenged...and I'm not very creative...on top of this I have to write a five page analysis of my project...

any ideas for something that is easy for someone like me...but also easy to analyze?

maybe do a collage, or a design for the front of a building as your drawing would be more straightforward and graphic that way.
The arts and crafts movement was going in the late 1800's. Tiffany stained glass was big-did you know he was the only maker to not only design windows, vases etc but make his own glass in the USA? All the others had theirs made in Europe etc. Check out Willam Morris too. Maybe do a glass design -first draw with pencil and then outline in sharpie on posterboard. You can get a cheap watercolor set and fill in the colors-sharpies don't run and it will look like the glass leading.
