Just myths or cute ideas about what stars could be... I thought of another one "small tacks that hold the sky in its distance from us" stuff like that... Maybe even cute ideas you may tell a small child if they asked what stars are??

Some say that stars
are holes in the vale of night
Where gods look down at us
from their bright world

Some say that stars
are small little tacks
placed there to keep the sky
in its distance from us

Some say that stars
are guardian angles
leding sailors and captians
home to safety

Some say that stars
are a great inspiration
bringing artists and writers
to their knees in creativity

Stars are beautiful
Stars are energy
Some stars are just like our sun

This is what I have so far... its for astronomy class, so I'm not trying too hard haha

Here's my final poem:

Some Say That Stars Are
By: A.H.

Some say that stars
are holes in the veil of night,
where gods look down at us
from their bright world.

Some say that stars
are beams of hope,
being held up on strings
to light the places which are dark.

Some say that stars
are small little tacks,
placed there to keep the sky
in its distance from us.

Some say that stars
are guardian angles,
leading sailors and captains
home to safety.

Some say that stars
are other worlds,
living and growing like ours
radiating the light of life.

Some say that stars
are fireflies in the sky,
attempting to make night into day
with their buds of light.

Some say that stars
are a great inspiration,
bringing artists and writers
to their knees in creativity.

Stars are beautiful.
Stars are energy.
Some stars are like our sun.
